Paper Clips Bookmarks

I received an order of large paper clips a couple of days ago and just had to make these bookmarks right away (these were inspired by Angie Juda from chic'n scratch). I made one for each of my kids using their favorite colors and of course one for myself. :)

Supplies:
Stamp: Lovely Letters Alphabet

Ink: pretty in pink, rich razzleberry, marina mist, real red.

Cardstock: whisper white, pretty in pink, rich razzleberry, marina mist, real red.

Punches: 1 3/4" scallop circle, 1 3/8" circle

Other: 3/8" taffeta ribbon (pretty in pink, rich razzleberry, marina mist, real red), 4 inch paper clip

  2. Where did you find these paperclips? (email me please, rn20990@yahoo.com)
I've been looking forever, I used to get them at my local Walmart, but they don't carry them anymore.
You did a terrific job on these. Thanks for sharing.

  3. What glue did you use to hold your paperclip to you cardstock? these turned out great! I'm making a bunch for my daughter to give to her friends for Christmas - bookworm theme :)

  4. I used craft size glue dots to hold the clip to each scalloped circle (there is one in the back too, and stampin dimmentionals to hold the two scallops to each other.
